US Translation company provides desktop publishing services for all of our translation services. Desktop publishing is an essential element in ensuring the highest level of translation quality. Desktop Publishing allows us to deliver the product in a way that makes it indistinguishable from the original; with the added perk of it being in the translated language, also known as the target language.

We receive the original document that needs translation. We go through the document and take note of all relevant details. What is the subject matter? What is the length of an audible recording? What text corresponds to what image. All of the details are communicated to both our linguists and desktop publishers. By meticulously communicating we can ensure an excellent end product. We send the original to be translated. The translator will then produce a high quality translation.

Our translators go through documents and provide a detailed translation, taking the target language’s components into consideration. Formatting errors can arise when translating. Not every alphabet has the same number of characters and has different shapes that take up less or more space. Hebrew and Arabic are written from right to left. When these things happen during translation, images can look out of place, sentences might not have space to fit within the same layout, and so on.

The translated document is then passed on to one of our professionals. Our team takes a fine-tooth comb over every translation to ensure images are in their original aesthetic. Imagine a picture book. If formatting was affected and it resulted in shortened paragraphs or sentences, images may not align with the content on the page.
