About EN 15038
Specifically written for the translation industry, EN 15038 was published by CEN, the European Committee for Standardization in 2006.
The Committee certifies our quality management system for translation through an independent, on-site audit and the European Union has begun including this standard as a benchmark in its tender specifications.
The requirements mandate that the translation services provider has documented procedures for the translation process, client contact, and quality assurance.
Sub-section's of the certification also focus on project assignment, use of technical resources, pre-translating process, source text analysis, terminology work and the style guide.
